Domestic violence is not a game you play, it's not just something you can read about and forget because tomorrow it's all over and done with~these are problems that are ongoing all over the world~in some places they go unnoticed.
~My name is Jeannette Moreno, Author of "I am a Survivor" a story about my life and how I survived the abuse while struggling to keep my children safe from their father and his abusive behaviors.

lacigreen: legit: What most of you don’t realize is that that’s a guy under there. He’s got an eating disorder and was underweight when this show was filmed. I hope that he’s better now but in the time this was taken, he was suffering heaps. It proves guys can have eating disorders just as much as girls can. Guys can hurt, guys can cry about their appearance. But the double stigma around anorexic guys stops a lot of them from going to treatment. Many of them will die. They need help…everyone whom suffers needs help, nobody deserves to feel like this. In the last 2 years, men’s concern about their weight jumped 6% while women’s fell by 4%.  Men make up 10-15% of those with eating disorders, but this number relies on self-reporting.  As long as eating disorders are considered exclusively a “women’s issue”, this stigma will continue to quietly affect young men.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, We all  know that violence is a crime….Almost 1/3 of all female homicide victims in the United States were killed by their intimate partner….How many more live’s do we need to loose before something is done about it?
